Once upon a time, Susie Briscoe and Mick Upton, the welcoming hosts of Green Mango Hideaway, lived in England. For a change, they moved to Sydney, where Mick worked in the computer industry, and Susie organised the offices of people like Greenpeace. After several years, they got itchy feet, hopped in their camper van, and set off to explore Australia. 18 months later, they reached a Byron beachside camping ground in a sub-tropical rainforest, and thought to themselves: why go further?

Within a short time Green Mango Hideaway came into being. Now their country dream come true can be yours, too.

From the moment you walk down the canopy-covered path, you’ll be enveloped in the magic of Green Mango Hideaway. The muslin-draped beds, sparkling palm-fringed pool, private timber bathhouse and hammocks beckoning on shady verandahs, all promise a memorable and relaxing holiday.

For your accommodation, choose between one of the spacious and romantic king rooms with raked timber ceiling, king-size bed, ensuite, sitting area and wide private balcony looking over the lush gardens and grounds.... or a charming queen room with a queen-size bed, ensuite and French doors opening on to a private section of verandah.

Relax with a spa in the bathhouse, an in-house massage or a laze in a hammock listening to the birds. Or be more active and go exploring....... Byron Bay, with its fabulous beaches, shops and cafes, is just a 15-minute picturesque drive away, the beautiful heritage village of Bangalow is 10 minutes away and the many scenic attractions of the area are within easy reach, making Green Mango Hideaway the perfect base for exploring this glorious region.

Tariffs Tariff includes a delicious country breakfast with juice, fresh and stewed fruit, a cooked dish such as scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, and home-baked bread. Queen Rooms from $165 per night King Rooms from $210 per night (2 night minimum stay in a king room ). Peak Season: surcharge and minimum 4 night stay applies. All prices include GST.
